Imanvi Esmail In Talks To Play The Female Lead Opposite Kartik Aaryan
Box Office Worldwide has learnt that actress Imanvi Esmail is currently in talks to play the female lead. The film, which is set to start soon, has already created excitement, especially with Anurag Basu at the helm. Basu recently completed reshoots for Metro In Dino and is now focusing on this romantic project.
However, confirming Imanvi’s role may take some time. The actress is already committed to another film starring Prabhas (Fauji), which might affect her availability for Basu’s project. She has agreed not to take on any new films until this one is released.
T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar (who is co-producing Imanvi’s film Fauji with Prabhas) has started talks with the main producers of the project. If things work as expected, She will star alongside Kartik in the new story by Anurag Basu.
Who Is Imanvi?
Imanvi (born in Delhi on October 20, 1995) is a content creator, dancer, and choreographer who moved to Los Angeles at a young age. She recently gained attention for her role in the short film Being Sa-rah, which explores the immigrant experience. Her portrayal of the main character in the film received positive reviews.
Earlier this year, Imanvi shared her thoughts on dance with dancer Eshani Patel on Pop Shift. She explained that she was not formally trained in dance but was inspired by watching legendary actresses like Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, and Vyjayanthimala.
Imanvi is set to make her debut with Prabhas’ period drama called Fauji, directed by Hanu. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will also feature Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in significant roles.
As for Anurag Basu’s untitled romantic film, production is expected to begin in Mumbai soon.
