Ajay Devgn has given fans plenty to get excited about! In a recent interview, he shared updates on some of his most loved film franchises. Devgn revealed that work is already underway on the next instalment for most of his hit movies.
Shaitaan 2 And Drishyam 3 Are In Writing Stage
After the massive success of Drishyam 2 and Shaitaan, fans have been eagerly waiting for more. Ajay confirmed that Shaitaan 2 is already in the writing phase, with a dedicated team also working on the next Drishyam instalment.
Speaking about these projects, he shared, “Shaitaan 2 is being written at the moment. A team is also working on the next Drishyam film.”
Ajay Devgn Also Confirms Dhamaal 4, Golmaal 5 & More
Devgn also revealed that Dhamaal 4 and Golmaal 5 are officially in the works. Adding to the excitement, Ajay confirmed that the production is going on for De De Pyaar De 2 and Son of Sardaar 2.
“This is the time for sequels, and that’s happening because the audience is prepared to know what they are going to get in the film. The characters become relatable and the audience is sure of what they will get on the big screen,” he explained.
Ajay Drvgn On Singham Again Sucess & A Two-Hero Film Wih Salman Khan
Ajay also took a moment to celebrate the massive success of Singham Again, which recently hit cinemas. The film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, achieving one of the fastest box office centuries for the actor. Reflecting on this milestone,
Ajay said, “As far as numbers are concerned, they are important, but I think the most important thing is the love of the audience. We survive on that, so when you get that, you don’t think much about the numbers.”
During his chat, Devgn was joined by director Rohit Shetty. They discussed the future of their popular cop universe and even hinted at a possible collaboration with Salman Khan for a two-hero film. The idea of Ajay and Salman teaming up for a project has already generated a lot of buzz.
For the unversed, Ajay Devgn is currently appearing in Singham Again, which also features Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey in a post-credit scene. This film was released on Nov 1 and is running in theatres nearby.
