Neeraj Pandey’s romantic saga Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha had a lukewarm start at the box office. Starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, the film opened with mixed reviews and showed only a slight increase on its first Saturday.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Shows Minimal Rise On Day 2
The movie collected Rs 1.85 crore nett on its opening day, which was considered below average. On Saturday, the film saw a modest rise, earning approximately Rs 2.15 crore. This brings the total collection to around Rs 4 crore nett in India.

Occupancy rates for the film on Saturday were fairly low. The film had a 10.93 percent Hindi occupancy overall. The morning shows saw a meagre 6.57 percent occupancy. This improved slightly for afternoon shows with 10.28 percent, while evening shows had 11.85 percent. The night shows saw a bit more interest, reaching 15 percent occupancy.
In comparison, AMKDT performed weaker on its second day than Ajay Devgn’s previous release Maidaan, which earned Rs 2.72 crore nett on its second day.
Both AMKDT & Ulajh Suffers While Deadpool & Wolverine Goes Strong
The film, released alongside Ulajh, starring Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Matthew, is struggling to make a significant impact. Both AMKDT and Ulajh are facing tough competition from the Hollywood blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, which has amassed Rs 101 crore in India so far, including Rs 7.25 crore on its second Saturday.
Set against the backdrop of two decades, from 2002 to 2023, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a musical love story featuring Ajay Devgn and Tabu. Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar play the younger versions of their characters. This film marks the tenth collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who have previously delivered hits like Drishyam, De De Pyaar De, and Bholaa.
