The remaking rights of Malayalam thriller, Prathi Poovankozhi released in 2019 has been bought by producer Boney Kapoor.
Now the remake has dubbing rights for all Indian languages except the original language (Malayalam) has been owned by Boney Kapoor’s company.
The original film was directed by Rosshan Andrrews starring Manju Warrier. The story of the film revolves around a woman trying to take on an eve teaser. Prathi Poovankozhi was inspired by Unni R’s short story Sankadam.
However, it’s still not clear whether the film will be remade in Hindi or any other South Indian language.
