Priyanka Chopra and Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently shared a delightful moment at a special screening of Citadel, bringing together stars from the global spy universe.
The event, hosted in London at Fitz’s Russell Square, was an exclusive drinks reception celebrating The World of Citadel. The actresses were joined by Italian star Matilda De Angelis, who leads the Italian spin-off of the series, along with the director duo Raj and DK.

Priyanka dazzled in a halter-neck orange dress, while Samantha looked stunning in an off-shoulder blue gown. The two were spotted laughing and chatting, and fan pages dedicated to Priyanka quickly shared glimpses of their bond on social media.
The photos captured the bonding between the two actresses, who both play key roles in different chapters of Citadel.

Though the event brought together some of the biggest stars of the spy-verse, Varun Dhawan, who stars alongside Samantha in the Indian spin-off Citadel: Honey Bunny, was notably absent.
At the teaser launch for the Indian version, Varun had praised Samantha for her resilience. “Honestly, my preparation was very easy compared to Samantha’s. It’s public knowledge what she was battling when she joined the show. I thought my rehearsals were tough, but then I saw her incredible work ethic despite her struggles, and it truly inspired me,” he said.
Samantha has been open about her diagnosis with Myositis, an autoimmune condition, but her strength and dedication to her work have been widely applauded. Varun even mentioned how the two became partners in making things happen during filming.
About Citadel: Honey Bunny
Citadel: Honey Bunny brings Varun and Samantha together for the first time on screen. The series, directed by Raj and DK, also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Sikandar Kher, and others. The teaser, which dropped in August, gave fans a glimpse into the intense, action-packed storyline.
The plot follows stuntman Bunny (played by Varun) and struggling actress Honey (played by Samantha), who are pulled into a world of espionage and betrayal. Years later, their dangerous past resurfaces, forcing them to reunite and protect their daughter, Nadia.
Citadel is a massive, multi-series franchise, produced across India, Italy, and Mexico, with the original series starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra. Backed by the Russo Brothers, the series is building a unique, interconnected spy universe.
Samantha’s previous work with Raj and DK in Family Man 2 raised anticipation for her return in Citadel: Honey Bunny, while Varun’s first collaboration with the talented actress has sparked excitement.
