On Wednesday, IMDb unveiled its list of the top 100 most viewed Indian stars of the past decade, covering 2014 to 2024. This list features both expected and surprising names, with Deepika Padukone securing the top spot as the most viewed Indian star on IMDb over the last ten years.
The rankings were determined by the actual page views of IMDb’s over 250 million monthly visitors worldwide. Following Deepika, Shah Rukh Khan holds the second spot, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is placed third. Alia Bhatt and the late Irrfan Khan round out the top five.
Other notable stars in the top ten include Aamir Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Akshay Kumar. Deepika Padukone, who made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om in 2007, has had a remarkable decade with a string of hits.
Deepika Padukone Says ‘This Recognition Inspires Me’
Deepika’s career highlights from the past decade include successful films such as Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Ram Leela. She continued her winning streak with Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and Tamasha. Additionally, she made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with xXx: Return of Xander Cage, starring alongside Vin Diesel.
In 2023, Deepika starred in two blockbuster films, Pathaan and Jawan, both featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Looking ahead, she will be seen in Kalki 2898 AD and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, set to release later this year.

Top 20 Indian Stars On the List
The list, which includes actors from various Indian film industries such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, also features some notable entries. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Triptii Dimri have gained significant recognition, with Samantha breaking out with the song from Pushpa and her role in The Family Man season two. Triptii Dimri, who gained popularity with Animal, is ranked above many well-known stars.
Despite the absence of specific data, it is likely that the pages of Sushant Singh Rajput and Irrfan Khan saw increased views following their untimely deaths in 2020, securing them spots in the top ten. The list also includes other popular names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor, who are all in the top 20.

According to the press release, the list of 100 stars includes actors from diverse film industries. Kamal Haasan, at No. 54, has the longest film career, debuting as a child actor in 1960. Triptii Dimri, at No. 15, is the newest star on the list, having debuted in 2017.
The stars ranked from 91 to 100 include Sanya Malhotra, Vikram, Richa Chadha, Kalki Koechlin, Aditya Roy Kapur, Nora Fatehi, Priyamani, Ajith Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, who rounds out the list at No. 100.
