All Eyes On Rafah: Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor & More Unite In Social Media Protest After Israel Attacks Palestine

All Eyes On Rafah has been shared by many celebs including Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and others to join the social media protest.

The phrase “All Eyes on Rafah” has been circulating widely on social media, particularly on Instagram stories. This surge in attention follows Israeli airstrikes that claimed the lives of 40 Palestinians and left many others injured in Rafah, a city in southern Gaza.

Notably, numerous Indian celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sonakshi Sinha, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Triptii Dimri, Dia Mirza, and Richa Chadha, have expressed their solidarity with the Palestinians by sharing this viral phrase on their respective Instagram accounts.

Celebs Show Their Support Amid Israel-Palestine Conflict

Alia Bhatt reposted a message from an Instagram page called “Motherhood Home” onto her story, accompanying it with the hashtag #AllEyesOnRafah. The post emphasised the fundamental rights of all children, advocating for “love, safety, peace, and life.”

Priyanka Chopra, despite facing criticism for her previous silence on Palestine despite her role as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, used her Instagram platform to share the “All Eyes on Rafah” template, showing her support for the cause.

Kareena Kapoor demonstrated her solidarity by reposting a statement from UNICEF’s official Instagram account, featuring a message from Executive Director Catherine Russell. The statement decried the tragic loss of life in Rafah, particularly highlighting the plight of children caught in the conflict and calling for an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages.

Other celebrities, including Varun, Rashmika, Sonakshi, Samantha, and Triptii, also joined the movement by incorporating the viral template into their Instagram stories.

The Israel-Palestine Conflict

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, which does not discriminate between fighters and noncombatants in its estimation, Sunday night’s strike has brought the total number of Palestinian deaths in the conflict to over 36,000.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted to a “tragic mistake” in an air assault on a Hamas complex near Rafah, claiming that the attack was carried out with “precise ammunition and on the basis of precise intelligence.”

The battle began on October 7 when Hamas launched an attack on southern Israeli villages, killing around 1,200 people and taking over 250 captives. Efforts to end combat and return captives have been stalled for weeks.
