In Mumbai, the team of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani organized a press conference to commemorate the film’s triumph. The event witnessed the presence of director Karan Johar, along with the lead stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, along with other crew members. They engaged in lively discussions about their movie and enthusiastically responded to entertaining inquiries from the media. Notably, during the press conference, the male lead expressed his dissatisfaction with the decision to edit the film slightly to accommodate the standard theater runtime.
For those unaware, the romantic drama initially had a runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes. However, Karan Johar and his team decided to trim approximately 22 minutes from the film. Several scenes, including the one where Rocky tells Rani, Love hai to sab hai, the end credits song Kudmayi, and a handful of amusing sequences, were removed during the editing process due to the film’s extended duration.
During the press conference, Ranveer Singh made a heartfelt plea to his director, urging him to contemplate incorporating the deleted scenes into the OTT version of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The actor shared that many people are expressing their desire to witness Rani’s theme song and all the omitted scenes.
