Saif Ali Khan is recovering after a frightening attack that shocked his fans. The actor was stabbed six times by a burglar at his Bandra home in Mumbai during the early hours of January 16. Thankfully, doctors at Lilavati Hospital confirmed that he is now “out of danger” after surgery.
The attack happened when Saif tried to stop a fight between the intruder and his household staff. He suffered serious injuries, including one dangerously close to his spine. Mumbai Police are actively investigating and have launched a citywide search for the attacker.
Saif will return to work soon after his recovery. He will begin promoting his upcoming films Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chapter and Kartavya in the coming month.
Saif Ali Khan To Begin The Promotions Of His Upcoming Projects Soon
Sources reveal that Jewel Thief, a heist thriller directed by Robbie Grewal with some parts directed by Kookie Gulati, is set for release on March 27. The film, which also features Jaideep Ahlawat, is in its final post-production stage. Saif finished most of his dubbing in November and only has two days left. Promotions are expected to begin in mid-March.
Kartavya (an OTT film directed by Pulkit of Bhakshak fame) is planned for a mid-2025 release. Promotions for this film will likely start after May.
Race 4 Shoot Is Expected To Kick Off By August
Saif has more projects lined up. He is preparing to start shooting for Race 4 in August. The producers are still deciding on the director, but the film is already creating excitement.
The actor is also set to work on a yet-to-be-titled movie with Priyadarshan and will return in Devara: Part 2.
Police Investigates Saif Ali Khan Attack Incident
The attack at Saif’s home has raised security concerns. CCTV footage captured the attacker’s face. According to fresh reports, he was last seen near Bandra Railway Station, and police think he might have escaped to Vasai-Virar by train. Multiple police teams are searching these areas, and some suspects have been taken in for questioning.
