The IPL 2025 opening ceremony will be a grand mix of Bollywood and cricket. Reports confirm that Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Priyanka Chopra will attend the event at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on March 22.
With top-tier performances and thrilling cricket action, the 18th IPL season will start with a bang.
Salman Khan To Promote Sikandar At IPL 2025
The event will begin at 6:00 PM IST, right before the toss for the first match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Fans can catch the action live on Jio Hotstar and Star Sports Network. However, the biggest buzz surrounds the Bollywood stars ready to take the stage.
Salman Khan is expected to use this massive platform to promote his upcoming film Sikandar. With millions of IPL viewers, this is a prime opportunity to generate hype for the action-packed film.
Shah Rukh Khan (co-owner of KKR) will be there to cheer for his team. His presence always electrifies the atmosphere. Priyanka Chopra will also be part of the event. While her role remains a mystery, her appearance will add an international touch to the night.
