Sarfira: After Notable Growth On Weekend, Makers Of Akshay Kumar Starrer Introduce ‘BOGO’ Offer On 15 & 16 July

Sarfira makers introduce a BOGO offer to attract the crowd after the 'chai-samosa' offer and a notable surge on Sunday.

Makers of Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira are enticing more cinema-goers with a special ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ (BOGO) offer on tickets for July 15 and 16.

This initiative aims to boost attendance by providing fans with an affordable opportunity to enjoy the film with loved ones. The promotional offer is expected to drive significant interest and bolster footfall in theatres across the country.

Taking to social media, the film’s producers exclaimed, “Vir and his inspiring story await you on the big screens! Book your tickets now!” Accompanying the announcement was a promotional poster stating, “Taking to the skies just got easier. BUY 1 Get 1 free. Offer valid till July 15 & 16.”

This initiative follows a successful pattern from previous campaigns where similar promotions have notably boosted box office revenues. By making cinema outings more economical, the filmmakers aim to enrich the viewing experience and encourage more patrons to return to theatres amidst ongoing challenges.

A Chai-Samosa Delight for ‘Sarfira’ Fans

Meanwhile, renowned multiplex chains like Inox and PVR have also jumped on the promotional bandwagon with offers for audiences of Sarfira.

Viewers attending screenings of the film will receive a complimentary cup of tea and two samosas upon presenting valid tickets. Additionally, fans can grab free merchandise related to the film, adding extra value to their movie experience.

In terms of box office performance, Sarfira initially grossed Rs 2.50 crore on its opening day. The film saw a modest uptick the following day, earning Rs 4.50 crore, and surged to Rs 12 crore on Sunday.

About The Film

Sarfira is the Hindi remake of the acclaimed South Indian film Soorarai Pottru, originally starring Suriya, which garnered national acclaim and awards.

Directed by Sudha Kongra, who makes her Hindi directorial debut with this project, the film has already resonated deeply in southern markets but is striving to replicate that success in northern India.

In addition to Akshay Kumar’s lead role, Sarfira features Radhikka Madan and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. Akshay Kumar, last seen in BMCM, is set to appear next in Khel Khel Mein, scheduled for release next month.
