Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Sky Force next month. It is an action-packed thriller set to be Bollywood’s first major release of 2025. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the Maddock Films and Jio Studios production promises thrilling aerial action and stunning visuals.
The film is based on India’s historic airstrike on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. It highlights one of India’s bravest moments in military history. Scheduled to be released during the Republic Day weekend, the trailer will be launched soon.
Sky Force Trailer To Drop Next Month
It has been officially confirmed that Sky Force trailer will drop on January 3, 2025, at a grand event in Mumbai. The film uses advanced VFX to bring the action and intensity of the airstrike to life.
Filming wrapped up recently in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, with a lively song sequence marking the final schedule. Both directors thanked the cast and crew on Instagram for their hard work. Kewlani said, “This film was a challenge to bring to life, but the team’s passion and hard work made it possible.” Kapur called it a tough but rewarding journey.

The movie was filmed in multiple locations, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pathankot, and even the UK. These diverse locations add realism and depth to the film.
The cast is as exciting as the story, with Akshay Kumar leading the way, joined by Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and Veer Pahariya. The action sequences are choreographed by Craig Macrae, known for his work on Jawan, Pathaan, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Releasing on January 24, 2025, Sky Force is expected to be packed with action, patriotism, and visual brilliance.
