Bollywood fans were buzzing with excitement about two major South Indian stars making their Bollywood debuts. Keerthy Suresh was set to debut alongside Varun Dhawan in Baby John, while Sreeleela was also scheduled to make her big-screen debut in a film directed by David Dhawan, starring Varun Dhawan.
Sreeleela Walks Out For Varun Dhawan Starrer Due To Scheduling Conflicts
However, there’s a twist in the tale. Recent updates reveal that Sreeleela has opted out of the film. According to E Times, the actress has stepped away from the project due to scheduling conflicts. When asked for clarity, film producer Ramesh Taurani mentioned that they were “just considering” Sreeleela for the role but didn’t confirm her final involvement.
With Sreeleela now out of the film, the production team faces the challenge of finding a suitable replacement. Taurani confirmed that no replacement has been finalised yet.
The film will feature Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. It also marks the reunion of the popular father-son duo, David and Varun Dhawan, known for their successful collaborations like Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2.
Sreeleela’s Diler With Ibrahim Ali Khan To Resume Shooting In London
Now, Sreeleela is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, in the film Diler, directed by Kunal Deshmukh. The shooting for Diler is scheduled to resume in mid-August in London.
As for Varun Dhawan, he recently completed the first shooting schedule for the David Dhawan project in Mumbai and has moved on to work on Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Dhawan is expected to return for the next schedule of his father’s film in November after wrapping up his current project.
