Three Khans Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan are undisputed legends in Bollywood. Since their breakthrough in the early ’90s, they have delivered many blockbusters and remain at the top of their game even today.
Last year, fans were thrilled when Salman made a cameo in SRK’s action thriller Pathaan, especially during its fun post-credit scene. This brief but impactful moment sparked lively discussions on social media, with many sharing their thoughts. Recently, Aamir Khan has now shared his point of view on that scene.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Aamir appeared alongside his ex-wife Kiran Rao. During their chat, the conversation shifted to Pathaan’s post-credit scene, where SRK’s character teams up with Salman.
Aamir Khan Says Young Actors Might Be Offended For THIS Reason
The part that captured everyone’s attention was SRK’s playful line, “Humein hi karna padega bhai, desh ka sawaal hai, bachon pe nahi chhod sakte” (We have to do it, brother; it’s about the nation; we can’t leave it to the kids).
Many fans saw this line as a playful dig at the younger generation of actors, suggesting that the older stars have still taken control.
Reacting to this, Aamir confessed that while he hadn’t watched the full movie, he did catch the viral clip on Instagram.
He said, “All the young actors must have got really upset, but you can’t even get too upset with Shah Rukh and Salman. Kya kar sakte hai” (What can they do?). Kiran added, “They must have enjoyed it.”

Aamir Khan Says It’s Not Just Him, SRK & Salman Who’ve Lasted For Years
The conversation also took a turn toward the topic of Bollywood stardom. Aamir was quick to point out that it’s not just the three Khans who’ve sustained long careers in the industry.
He remarked, “I have to say that it isn’t just Salman, Shah Rukh and me who have lasted for 35 years. There’s Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan… a lot of actors have been along with us.” For Aamir, the credit for long-lasting success extends beyond just their trio.
Aamir’s Work Front
Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. Despite high hopes, the film didn’t perform as expected, collecting about Rs 130 crore at the box office against a hefty budget of Rs 180 crore.
The movie, a remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, faced mixed reactions and didn’t quite hit the mark commercially. However, Aamir seems unfazed by this setback.
Now, Aamir is gearing up for his next project, Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is described as a spiritual follow-up to Aamir’s beloved Taare Zameen Par. This time, he will reunite with Darsheel Safary, who played the heartwarming lead in the original film. The project is co-produced by Aamir and Kiran & also stars Genelia Deshmukh as the female lead.
