After months of silence, the makers of Chiranjeevi-starrer Vishwambhara have finally shared a big update. The film’s first single, “Rama Raama,” will be released on April 12. The makers picked this date to match the spirit of Hanuman Jayanthi.
Vassishta (who earlier directed Bimbisara) is helming this fantasy-action flick. But the journey so far hasn’t been easy. When the teaser dropped last year in October, fans slammed the visuals. Many complained about the weak CGI. Some even accused the film of copying Hollywood scenes. Social media was flooded with memes and criticism.
Since then, the team has gone back to the drawing board. They’ve worked hard to fix the VFX issues. Post-production is still going on, but the makers decided to keep the excitement alive by releasing a track from the album.
Vishwambhara First Single ‘Rama Raama’ Drops Soon
The teaser poster for “Rama Raama” shows Chiranjeevi with kids dressed as Lord Hanuman. The visuals look colourful and festive. It brings out a sense of devotion and fun. The team shared it on Instagram and wrote, “A Hanuman’s love and reverence for his Lord Shri Ram. #Vishwambhara First Single #RamaRaama out on April 12th.”
The song will highlight Hanuman’s love for Lord Ram. The makers believe this spiritual theme will strike a chord with fans. With MM Keeravaani composing the music, fans expect a powerful soundtrack.

Vishwambhara stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. The cast also includes Kunal Kapoor, Ashika Ranganath, Ramya Pasupaleti, Esha Chawla and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri. UV Creations is backing the film. They’re known for producing grand films with strong content.
The team has not confirmed the release date yet. However, sources say they plan to launch the film on July 24, 2025. That date holds a special place in Chiranjeevi’s career. His blockbuster Indra was released on the same day years ago. The makers hope to recreate that magic with Vishwambhara.
