Story

It’s a journey of four female married friends who go to Goa for change from their usual and daily routine lives, where they discover to be on an extraordinary adventure. Swara Bhaskar as Shivangi, Meher Vij plays Mansi, Shikha Talsania’s Neha and Pooja Chopra as Sakina are the ladies in the film who are unhappy in their lives.

One of them satisfies their in-laws, Swara slips into her husband, Shikha Talsania hasn’t had sex with her husband for two years, third is tired of her husband terrifying to do a triple-talaaq on her. When they reunite in Goa, they call an Australian stranger (an Indian actor with peroxided hair doing a sentimental parody of Saif Ali Khan in Go Goa Gone) into their hotel room for a fun night.

Analysis:

It’s difficult to understand whether plot is bad or performances are worse. Except Swara Bhaskar there is no take away from the film. Poor writing is biggest shortcoming and direction is clueless. Sad to see Pooja Chopra in bad make up and pathetic role, Meher Vij and Shikha Talsania are loud and messy but Swara Bhaskar shines in half baked role. Everything is so cliche that four more shots can’t save you (pun intended). Worst work comes from DOP who shot it as bad as it gets.

Verdict:

The film has a format that resembles a four more shots series. It’s just that it’s placed in a middle class background. It leaves the audience with tedious music comprising no unique steps and an uninspiring plot. It seems that Producer Vinod Bachchan forced to release the film in cinemas as ott might have asked for theatrical release before ott premiere.
