This new project is expected to be a thrilling mix of fantasy and intense action. Known for her roles in Jubilee and Khufiya, Wamiqa recently teased her fans with an Instagram post.

She captioned it, “#Day1 #NewBeginnings,” officially announcing the start of her shoot. This post has sparked excitement among fans eager to see what’s next.

After a refreshing break, Wamiqa has jumped back into work with fresh energy. She has been preparing intensively for this physically demanding role.

The series, which will mark her OTT debut, sees Netflix teaming up once more with Raj & DK, known for their hits like The Family Man and Farzi. The project also involves director Rahi Anil Barve and writer Sita R Menon, under the production house D2R Films.

Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom promises a blend of bloody action and a captivating story set in a mythical realm. Wamiqa’s commitment and enthusiasm for the role are clear, and fans are looking forward to her performance.

Wamiqa began her career in 2013 with the Punjabi film Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22, where she starred alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh and Amrinder Gill. She continued with roles in Ishq Brandy and Ishq Haazir Hai, working with Diljit Dosanjh.

Her career took off with a lead role in the Tamil film Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam and a standout performance in the Malayalam film Godha, with Tovino Thomas. She further impressed audiences with her role in the Malayalam thriller 9, featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mamta Mohandas.

In 2023, Wamiqa worked with the renowned director Vishal Bhardwaj on two projects: the short film Fursat with Ishaan Khattar and the Netflix film Khufiya, alongside Ali Fazal and Tabu. That year, she also gained acclaim for her role as Niloufer in the Amazon Original series Jubilee, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and featuring Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, and Sidhant Gupta.

Next on her list is the Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John, directed by Kalees. But for now, all eyes are on her role in Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom, and anticipation is high for this exciting new series.
