On Sunday night’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa finale, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon made appearances to promote their most recent film, Bhediya. Karan Johar, a judge on the programme and a director, requested Varun to mention a few potential single Bollywood women. Varun’s list did not include Kriti’s name.
In a video that has gone viral on social media thanks to the actors’ fans, Karan asks Varun why Kriti’s name wasn’t on the list. Varun answers, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika padukone ke saath.”

As others chuckled, Kriti raised her hands in annoyance at Varun’s remark. Although Varun did not expressly mention Prabhas, the fans interpreted this as a confirmation. Prabhas and Deepika are co-starring in the bilingual movie Project K, which also features Amitabh Bachchan. They aren’t currently filming together, though. This contradiction was brought up by several followers, who questioned whether Varun wasn’t just performing “PR for Adipurush.”
However, there have been rumours of a relationship between Kriti and Prabhas for some time. In Om Raut’s epic Ramayana adaptation Adipurush, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh, Prabhas and Kriti are co-starring. Fans anxiously await the stars’ official declaration of their romance even though they have been coy about it.
