Actress Taapsee Pannu is all set to return to the action genre with her latest project, Gandhari. Fans of the actress are also excited to see her in a fierce new avatar.
After wrapping up the first schedule of shooting in December, the actress has resumed filming for the second leg of the action-packed thriller. Alongside the actress, Ishwak Singh has also started filming. The Veere Di Wedding actor stars opposite Taapsee in the film.
Taapsee Pannu Kicks Off 2nd Schedule Of Gandhari
A source close to Taapsee confirmed her return to set and said, “After completing the first schedule of Gandhari in December, Taapsee has begun the shoot for the second schedule of the film.”
The film’s plot promises to be gripping, with plenty of emotional depth, as Taapsee portrays a mother’s desperate struggle to save her child.
About The Film
Gandhari tells the story of a mother’s relentless battle to rescue her kidnapped child. Taapsee plays the lead role, taking on a physically demanding character that has required her to undergo intense training. She has been focusing on aerial yoga and strength building to prepare for the film’s action sequences.
This project also marks her second collaboration with writer-producer Kanika Dhillon, with whom she previously worked on the hit film Judgementall Hai Kya. It would be interesting to see how the two bring their creative vision to life once again.
While Taapsee’s look in Gandhari is still being kept under wraps, the anticipation around the film is growing. It’s set to release later this year.
