Jio Studios had a record-breaking night at the 25th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2025. The studio bagged 15 awards, the highest for any studio this year. The biggest highlight was Laapataa Ladies as it emerged as the top winner & secured an impressive 10 trophies.
The production banner enjoyed a power-packed 2024 with films like Stree 2, Laapataa Ladies, Shaitaan, Article 370, proving its dominance with strong stories and performances.

Laapataa Ladies Wins Big At IIFA This Year
The Kiran Rao-directed Laapataa Ladies was the biggest star of the night, taking home 10 awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Nitanshi Goel won Best Lead Actress for her outstanding performance, while Ravi Kishan and Pratibha Ranta bagged Best Supporting Actor and Best Debut (Female), respectively.
The film’s powerful storytelling also earned awards for Best Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Story. Music composer Ram Sampath and lyricist Prashant Pandey added to the tally with wins for Best Music Director and Best Lyrics for the song “Sajni.”
Janki Bodiwala’s gripping performance in Shaitaan earned her the Best Supporting Actress award. Article 370 also made waves, with Jubin Nautiyal winning Best Singer (Male) for the song “Dua.” Meanwhile, Sector 36 was recognised in the digital category, with Vikrant Massey winning Best Leading Role (Male) and Deepak Dobriyal securing Best Supporting Role (Male).
