Actress Karisma Kapoor is a prominent name in Bollywood. She has had the rare opportunity to work with all three of the industry’s Khans: Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, she opened up about her experiences with each of these iconic actors and highlighted what makes them stand out.
Karisma Kapoor Says Salman Is Playful, SRK Is Hardworking
Karisma, who has shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Salman in Judwaa, and Aamir in Raja Hindustani, described each Khan’s distinct style. “We have all literally grown up together,” Karisma said. “I think they are all very special and very different from each other. Their working styles are very different; that’s what is unique about them.”
The actress elaborated on each actor’s characteristics. Salman Khan, known for his playful nature, is “more masti and fun,” Karisma shared. “But in the shot, he’s very serious.”
Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, was recognised for his dedication and generosity. Karisma praised him for his hard work and his willingness to collaborate closely with co-stars on their lines.
Aamir Khan was described by Karisma as a “perfectionist.” She noted that working with him taught her a lot and that she has always been keen to observe and learn from her colleagues.
She stated, “Salman (Khan) is more masti and fun, but in the shot, he’s very serious. Shah Rukh Khan is extremely hardworking and a very giving actor. He will really sit with you and do your lines, which is such a great quality, and then, of course, Aamir (Khan) is such a perfectionist. Working with them, I also got to learn a lot. That’s why I like to observe actors, and I literally observed them and took their best quality.”
Karisma Kapoor’s Work Front
Karisma Kapoor’s Bollywood journey began with Prem Qaidi in 1991. She went on to star in several hits, including Haseena Maan Jayegi, Dil To Pagal Hai, and Zubeidaa. Her role in Dil To Pagal Hai earned her a National Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Recently, Karisma was seen in Homi Adajania’s Netflix India whodunit Murder Mubarak. Her upcoming projects include starring in Abhinay Deo’s thriller series Brown, set to release on ZEE5. She is also currently hosting the TV show India’s Best Dancer 4.
