Section 36: Vikrant Massey Starrer Promises Dark Thrills With Unexplained Disappearances & Deadly Chases; September Release Announced!

Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal's crime thriller Section 360 is all set to release on September 13. Check the motion poster!

Vikrant Massey is back in the spotlight after his role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, which has won over audiences. Starting from television and later transitioning to films, Massey has become a well-known name in the entertainment industry. His latest film, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, is trending on Netflix, with viewers enjoying his performance as Rishu opposite Taapsee Pannu’s Rani.

Now, Massey’s next project has been officially announced, and the anticipation is building. The film, titled Sector 36, features him alongside Tanu Weds Manu star Deepak Dobriyal. Based on true events, this crime-thriller promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Vikrant Massey-Deepak Dobriyal’s Sector 36 To Release In September

The first poster, revealed by the makers on social media, has already grabbed attention with its intriguing tagline: “Unexplained disappearances, a deadly chase, and the dark truth.” The film is set to release on Netflix on September 13.

Sector 36 explores dark and complex themes of power, crime, and social inequality. The story follows a police officer, played by Massey, who becomes embroiled in a chilling investigation as he tracks down a cunning serial killer.

Dobriyal’s role is shrouded in mystery, and the film is expected to showcase both actors in roles unlike any they’ve played before.

Here’s What Dinesh Vijan Said About The Film

According to Dinesh Vijan, producer at Maddock Films, “Sector 36 is an intensely sensory film that delves deep into the human psyche. It’s a story that we felt was crucial to be told. Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal deliver outstanding performances, and we couldn’t be prouder of their work.”

Vikrant Massey: Work Front

Despite the success of 12th Fail, Massey’s subsequent films have struggled to create the same impact. His previous releases, Blackout on Jio Cinemas and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba received mixed reviews and didn’t quite live up to the hype.

Both of these films were released on OTT platforms, and there’s speculation that his next theatrical release, The Sabarmati Report, might have been shelved after several delays. This project, produced by Ektaa Kapoor and starring Raashi Khanna, has been conspicuously absent from promotions.
